The Biggest road to remeber is Oakland as it intersects a lot of major roads in Milwaukee that move east and west including Capital, Locust, North Ave, and Center St. If you can get to Oakland Ave, you just need to make your way to the UWM campus, specifically Kenwood Blvd. Kenwood is the major road just sound of the main campus area.

Parking-

Parking around UW Milwaukee can be a challenge. The snowy season especially can be bad during the school year. Here are some suggestions on where to park when you come down for events or services at The Point of Grace.

Street Parking-

Monday through Friday from 8 A.M. to 9 P.M. parking on the street around TPOG is 30 minutes to an hour depending on which street you park on. After 9 P.M., however, there is now time limit to parking. READ THE SIGNS! Do not park in RPM parking spaces heading south near church. You WILL get ticketed.

Immediately to the east side of The Point of Grace is two hour metered parking. From 7 A.M. to 9 P.M. you have to plug the meter Monday through Friday. Saturday is from 8 A.M. to 12 P.M. After 12 on Saturdays you do not have to plug the meters. If you want to be as safe as possible, park in the two hour parking areas a couple blocks south of the church.

On Sunday's there are no restrictions on street parking, so please join us for Sunday worship, it's a lot easier to get around.

Garage Parking-

The UWM student union garage is the closest place, and often times the best place, to park when it is available. The cost is $1/hour and the entrance to the parking garage is right across from The Point of Grace on Kenwood Blvd. The driveway down to the garage is only available on the westbound side of the road due to a grassy median deviding the East and Westbound roads. A u-turn can easily be made fairly close to the garage on Kenwood, however. Sundays garage parking is free!
