Student Involvement Opportunities

Student Organizations

The Point of Grace (TPOG) is a campus ministry that serves college and university students throughout the Milwaukee area.

One of the ways we serve students is through a student organization (commonly called a student org) registered with the college or university.

TPOG has registered student orgs on the Marquette, Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) campuses.

If you are a student who desires to be involved with one of TPOG’s student orgs, we would love to talk with you.

TPOG also welcomes students from other Milwaukee area campuses such as Cardinal Stritch, Concordia, Wisconsin Lutheran College to name just a few.

If you are interested in becoming more involved in one of our student orgs, or perhaps starting a student org on your area campus, please contact us.  It is awesome to see students provide the necessary leadership to make ministry happen on our area campuses.

If you or anyone you know have the talents to help, please contact our Outreach Coordinator Mike Westendorf.

Stop By For an Event

We have various opportunities for you to get involved and to meet new people, all while being encouraged in your Christian walk.

All of our Bible studies are open to you regardless of which school you attend.  We host weekly Bible classes on the Marquette, MSOE and UWM campus.

Each month we have a larger event called The Gathering where students from many of the campuses gather for free food and to hear inspiring speakers and important topics.

We offer a weekly, Wednesday evening chapel service at our UWM Campus House (2215 E. Kenwood Blvd across from the UWM Student Union).

There are also various fellowship activities and service projects throughout the year (serving dinner at Lighthouse Youth Ministries, finding our way through a corn maze at Halloween, etc.).

In addition, we have a partnership with Awake and Alive, a ministry for 18-25 year old’s that hosts 4 large group gatherings each year: three during the summer months and one in January.
